The EDGAR database contains detailed financial filings from U.S. public companies. The demo includes the most recent (2008) filing information from 1,000 public companies, including executive compensation data (courtesy of directEDGAR) and company facts and financials (from EDGAR Online). Perform your own financial analysis to see how executive salaries stack up against company performance.

MusicBrainz Recorded Music Database

MusicBrainz is a community music metadatabase containing information on more than 700,000 recorded music releases. Use HTSQL to see your favorite artists' catalogs, find covers of your favorite songs, and become the master of music trivia.

About Our Demos

Our HTSQL demos use a SQL database back end (PostGres SQL) combined with HTSQL software to provide complete, unfiltered access to the data. If you need some ideas to get you started, there are topical blog entries and a helper application. Because these are public demos, there are a few features and restrictions that will not be in place for your own deployment of HTSQL, including:

• All metadata tables in the database are visible
• Queries will return a maximum of 1000 records
• Creating, updating and deleting of records is not allowed
